Tesco launches Food Love Stories in Central Europe

theretailchain by Retailtrend.it – Following the launch of Food Love Stories in the UK , Tesco is now rolling out the campaign in Central Europe to celebrate the passion and care that goes into the food we all love with customers in those markets.

Following improvements in customer perception of Tesco food quality in the UK, the campaign will introduce new stories each month in Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic to demonstrate how Tesco understands the special role food plays in customers’ lives.

The first story for March features roasted duck as the hero recipe – an example of an Easter dish that can be enjoyed by the whole family at the festive table.

Alessandra Bellini, Chief Customer Officer at Tesco, said:

“Food Love Stories have played a pivotal role in helping to demonstrate to customers in the UK that we take great pride in the quality of our food. We’re delighted to be launching the campaign in Central Europe and inspire our customers in store and online.”

Martin Behan, MD of Tesco Poland, said:

“At Tesco we’ve always been passionate about the food we offer. We take pride in the quality of our food and we know how important food is to help to bring people together. Food Love Stories will put food at the centre of what we do as a business, and how we talk to our customers.”

Food Love Stories will feature across radio, social and digital media, as well as in stores. For the first time in Central Europe, ingredients and recipe cards for each Food Love Story will be available in Tesco’s large stores and online, to help customers recreate the meals for themselves at home.

The campaign builds on the work Tesco has done in Central Europe over the last few years to improve the shopping experience for customers, which has included improving the availability of many products, introducing lower, more stable prices on thousands of products and revamping the look and feel of many of its stores.
